England’s Vitality Roses Secure #NWC2023 Final Spot

England’s Vitality Roses defeated defending champions New Zealand to progress to the final of the 2023 Netball World Cup at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on Saturday, 5 August. 

Playing in front of a buzzing crowd, both countries put up a stellar performance in the morning session’s first semi-final match, as they fought tooth and nail to the very end. 

In the very tight encounter, it was Jess Thirlby’s side who walked away with a 46-40 win and are through to the first Netball World Cup final since 1975.

England will now keep a close eye on who they will face when the second semi-final between Jamaica and Australia takes place later today at 16h00 CAT.

Australia to Face England in NWC2023 Final

A thrilling semi-final that sees the Diamonds into a ninth straight final with a 57-54 victory. 

Australia will take on England in the final at 18h00 CAT on Sunday, 6 August 2023.
