Namibian cricket star, Eveleen Kejarukua, is set to embark on a stint in England after signing for East Huntspill Cricket Club ahead of their 2022 Somerset Cricket League.

The off spin bowler made her debut for Namibia women’s cricket team in 2018 and played locally for Zebra Cricket Club.

“Having played for my country for years, it was always my dream to play cricket abroad and experience a different level of the game,” she told gsport.

She believes that the knowledge she will gain in England will make a huge difference and change back home.

Kejarukua becomes the third African female cricket player to be signed by a club in England after the Zimbabwean duo of Josephine Nkomo and Modester Mupachikwa were signed by South Northumberland and Spencer Cricket Club, respectively.
