Executive Ladies were off to an impressive start in the 2023 Sasol League, after thrashing Cumakala FC 9-0 at Lady Frere Sports Field in Queenstown on Saturday, 18 March 2023.
In other Inland Stream matches, Ayakha Stars secured a comfortable 1-0 win at home over WSU Mthatha, meanwhile Red Roses Ladies bagged maximum points on the road after a 2-0 win over Coastal United in Mthatha. For Eastern Rangers, their efforts weren’t enough, as they lost 4-2 to Eluhewini Ladies in Lusikisiki.
In the Coastal Stream, University of Fort Hare brought their A-Game as they thumped MADIBAZ Football 5-1 at NMU 2nd Avenue in Summerstrand, while Golden Stars suffered at 3-1 defeat to Volcano Ladies.
Elsewhere, Sophakama Ladies defeated their opponents Nav Galaxy Ladies 3-0, while Kilimanjaro earned a 2-0 win over Phoenix Birds FC.
Royal Wizards Dominate the Northern Cape Sasol League
Royal Wizards dominated Stream B of the Northern Cape Sasol League, defeating hosts Galeshewe Ladies 8-1 at Vuyolwethu High School Grounds. While, Diamond Ladies secured a 3-1 win over Blinkklip Ladies FC at the same venue.
Power Boys Ladies showed no mercy over Ritchie All Stars who are at the bottom of the log after four games, as they thumped them 6-0 at De Beers, while Rising Stars lost 2-0 to Amakipkip at Rising Stars Fields.
In Stream A, Northern Cape Consciousness Ladies are at the top of the log with 12 points after beating Tlhaping Flowers 5-1 at Batlharos Stadium, while seventh-placed First Touch Ladies lost 4-1 to Bodulong United FC. Pako Ladies secured their second win, after a 1-0 victory Sesheng United FC at Pako Grounds in Bothithong.
Meanwhile, RC Mills Ladies earned their third victory, after a 4-0 win over Black Spurs.
