The Football Association of Ireland have signed a three-year expanded agreement with logistics company, DHL, which now includes the national women’s football team.

Speaking on the announcement on Wednesday 23 November 2022, Sean Kavanagh, Commercial Director of the FAI, said: “The three-year extension of our partnership with DHL and their new status as partners with our World Cup bound senior women’s team is great news for the Football Association of Ireland as we look forward to so many important games for all our teams in 2023 and beyond.”

Brian Murray, Commercial Director of DHL Express Ireland, added: “As official logistics partner to the FAI for over 25 years, we have been proud to support Irish international football at all levels.

“This year we are absolutely thrilled to be coming on board as a named sponsor of the women’s national team. Their recent success has brought a renewed passion and joy for Irish football and is opening up the sport to a new audience – and we can’t wait to help deliver football to them,” he continued.

“We would like to extend our best wishes to Vera Pauw and her senior team as they prepare for their historic inclusion in the World Cup in 2023 and we are looking forward to providing our world class logistics services in Australia and New Zealand.”
