Adidas marathon runner, Gerda Steyn, set a new women’s course record as she claimed her third consecutive Totalsports Two Oceans Ultra Marathon title on Sunday, 17 April 2022.
Steyn broke Frith van der Merwe’s three-decade record as she crossed the finish line in a time of 3:29:42 ahead of former Nedbank Running Club, Irvette van Zyl in second place (3:30:31).

Ethiopia’s Amelework Fikadu Bosho rounded up the podium coming in third (3:34:16).
