Following the huge success of the first ever all-women full contact fighting competition, Team Ray Fight Corporation is hosting the next Fight Girls South Africa tournament on Saturday 8 December 2007 at Ratanga Junction in Cape Town. The action kicks off at 7pm. To witness the excitement you can purchase a ticket at R50 by pre-booking or at the door.

The women who are beautiful but talented full contact fighters come from various backgrounds including Kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA, Karate, Taekwondo and Jiujitsu – will fight each other under the exciting K-1 rules which allows boxing, kicking and knee strikes anywhere on the body.

Only the best fighters are selected to compete on the Fight Girls SA stage, which provides fantastic exposure for the sport of Thaiboxing and South Africa’s top women fighters. Since the event is broadcasted on both SABC 1 and SABC 2, the Fight Girls SA sponsors receive unprecedented television exposure with the event being viewed by the millions watching at home.

First-timers to the Fight Girls SA scene are in for an electrifying experience of super-exciting fights and entertainment provided by World Hip Hop champions from the Fusion Hip Hop Crew.

Organizer/promoter of Fight Girls SA, Rayana Ameeroedien is even more excited about the upcoming event than she was about the first. "As always we will use the Fight Girls SA stage as a platform to create an awareness of violence against women and children.

"This time around I am working with a strong team who are motivated and highly committed individuals and so this event is going to be even more successful than the previous one.

"The fighters who are looking great and in awesome fighting condition are ready to rumble! The women have been evenly matched and we have some exciting fights lined up. The athletes who will be emerging from all over the country, are keen to face their opponents in the ring.

The first Fight Girls SA tournament certainly set the standard and with the events’ reputation for good quality fights and spectacular entertainment, Team Ray Fight Corporation promises not to disappoint.

"We are happy to be associated with Ratanga Junction as it is a fantastic and family-friendly venue with lots to offer us in terms of accommodating our many spectators and fight fans.

The venue will definitely add to the prestige of Fight Girls South Africa. Lastly I must mention the fantastic support of our sponsors without whom this event would not be possible. I hope to see you all at the event!"
