South Africa’s long distance running sensation, Glenrose Xaba, has achieved her goal of setting a new Personal Best at the SA Half Marathon Championships, which took place in Gqeberha on Saturday, 3 June 2023.
After competing in the SPAR Grand Prix 10km race last weekend where she finished in third place, Xaba revealed her hopes to set a PB in the national championships. She revealed heraldlive.co.za saying, “I want to run a PB and according to the shape I am in now I could run a PB for the half-marathon.”
And, in Saturday’s race, Xaba won her fourth consecutive half marathon title in a time of 1:08:36.
