Women’s Africa Cup of Nations champion and founder of JVW Girls FC Janine van Wyk signed a new deal with Greek outfit, Ergotelis WFC on Thursday, 1 September 2022.

Van Wyk joins the team for the 2022/2023 season after having been at Glasgow City during the 2020/2021 season.

Sharing on her Twitter account, van Wyk said: “Looking forward to start this new and exciting chapter that I believe would be yet another platform for me to continue to grow to become the best version of myself.

“Another challenge to improve, get better and continue to strive towards greatness.”

 

In the Greek Women’s Cup, Ergotelis WFC finished second in the 2015/2016 season and in the Greek A Division they earned a fourth-place finish during the 2021/2022 season.
