Kadence Ribbink Wins Junior Title at Bonaqua Africa Triathlon Cup

South Africa’s Kadence Ribbink clinched gold in the junior women’s race at the Bonaqua Africa Triathlon Cup in Nyanga, Zimbabwe on Saturday, 2 April 2022.

Ribbink clocked 01:21:15 to edge out her South African counterpart, Mia van der Veen, who finished second in 01:25:56.

Brooklyn Tippett finished third in 01:27:51 and was followed by her Zimbabwean counterpart, Makanaka Mawere in 01:29:15.

In the elite race, there was a great battle for first and second as Slovakia’s Ivana Kuriackova continued with her fine form to win in a time of 01:09:45. South Africans Shanae Willams and Hannah Newman completed the podium claiming silver and bronze, respectively.
