Three of South Africa’s most celebrated voices – SAfm’s queen of talk Thabiso Sikwane, 5fm DJ Koula and kwaito star Kabelo have announced their Reebok sponsored head to head challenge in this years Comrades Marathon.
The challenge will have a competitive nature to it with each of the stars trying to cross the finish line first, but more importantly they will be trying to raise money for their relevant charities.
Thabiso and Koula have not attempted the gruelling race before, while Kabelo has run the race before finishing in under 11 hours and raising R 240 000 for charity.
You can root for your favourite star by cheering on the streets between Pietermaritzburg and Durban, or you can pledge your support from your armchair using your cell phone.
You can SMS 38338 preceded by one of their names (Thabiso, Koula or Kabelo). SMS’s will cost you R10.
