The 2022 Feather Awards nominees were revealed at the Constitutional Hill in Johannesburg on Thursday, 13 October 2022.
The Feather Awards are hosted to recognize individuals and organizations who have made an outstanding contribution to the industry and society.

In the Role Model of the Year award category, the nominees have always tried to put their best foot forward in the public eye and strive to contribute positively to society. Vying for the top prize in this category is gsport Founder Kass Naidoo, alongside Banyana Banyana and FEW South Africa.
In the Sports Personality of the Year category, Women’s Africa Cup of Nations winning goalkeeper Andile Dlamini, will go up against SA’s wheelchair tennis star, Kgothatso Montjane and reigning WAFCON champions Banyana Banyana.

The 14th annual awards are scheduled to take place at the Market Theatre in Johannesburg on the Thursday, 10 November 2022.
