KwaZulu-Natal provincial champions, Lindelani Ladies began their Sasol League National Championships campaign on a positive note, defeating Northern Cape’s Royal Wizards 6-0 at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday, 18 October 2022.
In the second game of the day, Dangerous Heroes from Western Cape and TS Galaxy Ladies from Mpumalanga put up a fight to finish the match 2-all.
Gauteng’s Tuks took on Sophakama Ladies from Eastern Cape in the final encounter of the day, where Tuks secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over their opponents.
With thirteen goals scored, Day 2 of the Sasol League National playoffs on Wednesday will be waited with bated breath when TS Galaxy Ladies take on Copperbelt Ladies of Limpopo at 09h00 and Tuks Ladies will battle Central University of Technology from Free State at 12h30.
In the afternoon match, Royal Wizards will look to redeem themselves when they take on NWU Tawana FC from North West in the last game of the day at 15h30.
