Lions team Physiotherapist Sheenagh Jordaan has been called up for national duty for the SA U19. Jordaan will be touring with the squad in their tour to Bangladesh.

Sheenagh is having a Year of Women’s Sport to remember, this will mark her first international tour as a team physiotherapist. Sheenagh, who also boasts two self-published poetry books, works alongside the Wanderers Sports Medical Centre, where she pioneered the role of team physiotherapist in the women’s domestic cricket space, servicing DP World Lions Women in the recent 2022/23 season. Previously, Sheenagh was team physiotherapist to the U19 Women’s Proteas at the inaugural U19 T20 Women’s World Cup.

Lions Cricket as well as the Wanderers Sports Medical Centre has also wished Sheenagh all the very best for her upcoming adventures adding that they have no doubt she’ll represent the Pride with the high standard of professionalism and unwavering passion that they’ve become accustomed to.
