Kommetjie twins Lisa and Daniel Mace posted almost identical heat scores to win the Under 18 Girls and Under 18 Boys titles respectively, in the Lotto Future Stars Challenge, which was completed in small but contestable surf at Long Beach, Kommetjie on Sunday, 20 January.
Lisa Mace beat Chantelle Rautenbach of the Boland team into second place, with fellow WP Team members Tanika Hoffman and Holly Armstrong ending third and fourth respectively.
Western Province beat Boland, the Future Stars and the Mavericks respectively in the Tag Team and Overall Team event.

The Lotto Future Stars Challenge involved three teams of provincial surfers, and a team made up of up-and-coming National Academy surfers selected by Surfing South Africa.
