Record Entry For Roxy Wahine

A record entry of over 120 surfers has been received for the Roxy Wahine Cup presented by Peugeot and Samsung which starts today (December 1) and ends on Sunday (December 3) when the Roxy Wahine Cup winners will be crowned on the lawns of the Suncoast Beach in Durban.

Robb Lifts U18 Surf Crown

Multiple champion and three time SA Junior team member Nikita Robb of Border added the Under-18 South African title to her list of achievements, when she beat Michelle Imeson of Southern KZN into second place in perfect 3-4 foot surf at New Pier in Durban on Sunday, 1 October.

Girls Dis Shark for Roxy Surf

Despite strong south east winds, freezing water and a shark scare on Day one of the event, Long Beach Kommetjie produced the goods for both days of the Roxy Surf Jam over the weekend of September 3 and 4.

Despite the howling south-easter, the waves at Long Beach stayed good and contestable for the final day of the Roxy Surf Jam, and all the girls were ripping in their heats.
