Melinda Kgadiete scored within the first 5 minutes of the match to lead the way for Andisiwe Mgcoyi who went on to score a brace, including a penalty from Zanele Nhlapho in the 38th minute.
Miché Minnies also got her name onto the scoreboard as she made her debut appearance in the continental tournament after joining the team in earlier this year.
Salome Kekana and Rhoda Mulaudzi also raised their hands to add goals on the scoresheet.
The visitors made an effort with a consolation goal in the 77th minute via penalty.
Mulaudzi could have had her second goal in the match, however the netter in the 89th minute was ruled off-side.
Sundowns’ next match against Double Action Ladies will take place on Tuesday, 9 August 2022 at 12h00.
