Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies Part of New Partnership Between the Club and Red Bull 

Mamelodi Sundowns have joined forces with Red Bull as their official beverage partner. A partnership made possible by Roc Nation Sports International. The announcement was made on social media with a few players from the women’s side flagged by a few players from the men’s team on Thursday, 31 August 2023.

The announcement on the website states that the two iconic brands coming together will stay true to their motto of “The Sky is the Limit” merging with “Reb Bull Gives You Wings” and they hope to give wings to the players, fans, and the teams at Chloorkop. 

Sundowns has enjoyed massive success in the past few years. They Ladies side has four titles in the local league amassing four titles. They’ve won the inaugural 2021 CAF Women’s Champions League. In February 2023, the Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies were named the Best Women’s Club in Africa by the International Federation of Football and Statistics (IFFHS) for 2022.

Banyan Ba Style are currently participating at the CAF Women’s Champions League as they compete in the COSAFA Qualifiers eThekwini and Sundowns Chairman Tlhopie Motsepe spoke about the importance of bringing a global brand to the club.
