Riaan Venter Academy’s Mari-Loiuse Van Zyl was crowned ITF J3 champion at the Wanderers Junior ITF tournament in Illovo on Friday, 21 October 2022.
Marilouise Van Zyl bags second junior ITF title 🏆
The 16-year-old of Riaan Venter Tennis Academy defeated British Marelie Raath 6-3, 6-4 to claim the ITF J3 title at the Wanderers Junior ITF tournament on Friday.

The 16-year-old defeated Mariele Raath from Britain 6-3 6-4 to walk away as the winner.
Out of all the games she played, van Zyl didn’t drop any set all week in a tournament that started on the 17th of October.
The right-handed player is currently ranked number 317 on the ITF Junior rankings. Her highest career ranking was 293 in August 2022.
