Marissa Langeni will be taking up a new challenge as she has been announced as Chief Executive Officer of University Sport South Africa (USSA).
USSA made the announcement on Tuesday, 3 May, after Langeni stepped down from her role as CEO of SA Hockey after nearly 13 years.
Last week, Langeni expressed her gratitude for the time she had spent making a mark in the hockey space.
She will now hope to use her extensive knowledge and administrative experience to assist universities across South Africa nurture the next generation of stars.
