University of Stellenbosch top performed at the 2022 USSA tournament, claiming both the netball and hockey championship titles.
The tournament ran from 5-9 July at Camp Discovery, North of Pretoria.
The netball team added another USSA trophy to their cabinet after beating Nelson Mandela University 44-20 in the final on Saturday, 9 July.
Maties played a total of six games, losing one to Kovsies (33-36).

In the hockey, Maties beat defending champions Tuks 2-1 to claim the 2022 USSA Hockey Champs.
Maties played a total of five games hammering UCT 8-0 to book themselves a spot in the semi-finals.
The Maroon Machines won 3-2 against Wits in the semi-finals, where they managed to secure their spot in the finals and beat Tuks 2-1 to win the USSA Hockey Champs.
