Team South Africa’s Swimming, Badminton and Beach Wrestling athletes add medals to the country’s tally at the 2023 African Beach Games in Hammamet, Tunisia.
Swimmers Amica de Jager and Kate Beaton flew the South African flag high after they made a splash in the 5k Open Water Swim. de Jager finished in first place grabbing the gold medal, followed by Beaton in second place.

The Badminton team consisting of Cayleen Miller, Jabulile Gininda and Diane Oliver claimed gold after beating Tunisia in three sets.
