The national women’s cricket team takes on Pakistan this morning in the second of five One Day International, having convincingly won the first encounter at the Laudium Oval in Pretoria by 98 runs on Saturday.
In today’s match, Pakistan won the toss, and chose to field first.
South African Team Manager Zola Thamae spoke to gsport shortly before the commencement of play this morning, and was upbeat about the team’s prospects.
“SA have made one change,’ said Thamae. “Free State’s Annekie Minnie making way for 17-year old debutant, Mignon du Preez, who comes in at no. 5.”
The ODI is being played at the Harlequins Oval, in Pretoria
