The Totalsports Women’s Race Cape Town will close off on a high note on Friday, 09 August 2019 (National Women’s Day) with a live performance by singer-songwriter Paxton. The youngest South African to win Idols South Africa (Season 13), Paxton Fielies started singing in the church choir at the age of 7.

“I’ve been singing ever since,” admits Paxton.  “I love being able to entertain people and tell stories through my music.  Music is a common language that everyone (locally and globally) can relate to.  This is awesome.

“I am excited to perform at the Totalsports Women’s Race in Cape Town.”  – Paxton Fielies, Idols South Africa Season 13 Winner

“It’s a wonderful event that aims to uplift women in South Africa.  I believe that women need to support each other more.  We definitely need more events that encourage women to uplift each other.  Runners (and supporters) can look forward to hearing some new singles, but I will definitely include favourites that they will recognise and enjoy.”
