Rachel Zihundula Elevated to International Referee

Congo’s Rachel Zihundula has been elevated to the rank of international referee by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

The 24-year-old referee began her career in 2015 when she was 16 years old.

Zihundula officiated her first game in 2018, during the match between FC Goal Academy and Bwendera.

She is promoted by FIFA for her quality refereeing as well as her performances.

This exciting news for the North Kivu football referee comes from the list of new officials promoted to the international rank by the football authority.
