The South African Gymnastics Federation have congratulated Mammule Rankoe on qualifying for the finals on Bars at the FIG Challenge World Cup in Pavillhao Multiusos de Guimaraes, Portugal. The final will take place this Saturday evening. She qualified for finals in fourth place with a score of 11,850.

Mammule is one of the federation’s Olympic High-Performance Gymnasts who has displayed huge improvement in her results this year. She has hails from the JGC Club in Johannesburg under the watchful eye of Ilse Pelser together with fellow gymnasts Caitlin Rooskrantz and Naveen Daries.

Mammule’s qualification to bar finals follows the great achievements of Caitlin who won SA’s first Artistic Women’s gold medal on bars at the FIG World Challenge Cup in Hungary and Naveen’s fourth place in the finals of floor at the same competition. Mammule, Caitlin and Naveen are the three-lady team who will be representing South Africa at the upcoming World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany from 04 – 13 October 2019 which is also the qualifier for the Olympic Games.
