SA won the toss and elected to bat
Openers Chetty (58) and Fritz (24) set up a 54-run opening stand, to which skipper Du Preez added 48 for a challenging 206/8 total off their 50 overs.
West Indies lost three quick wickets before an Aguilliera and Dottin partnership steadied the hosts. Dottin (26) followed shortly after Aguilliera (40) fell, and with a mis-firing batting linep the West Indies chase didn’t last much longer, bowled out for 126 with more than 10 overs to go.
Dane van Niekerk was the star of SA’s bowling with figures of 7-2-28-5, and was deservedly named player of the match.
