Justine Asher: A Role Model to Women

by | Aug 4, 2016

I believe that woman can reach the highest level in Sports that they participate in, with hard work and dedication.

I am the mother of one of the finalist in the Category for Disabled Sport, Justine Asher, and I have watched her go from strength to strength in a period of 3 years.

She has reached the pinnacle of her sporting career by being chosen to represent South Africa in the RIO Olympics 2016.

I have watched Justine on the World Circuit bringing home 2 Gold medals every time for South Africa.

These achievements have come with lots of hard work, determination, dedication and mostly believing in herself.

Justine inspires all, wherever she goes and even me as her mom. I’m hoping that my story of my daughter that I am so proud of will inspire many young woman in South African Sport.
