SA Woman Golfer magazine will be distributed for the first time as a stand-alone publication from its March/April/May issue, and is due on the shelf on the 3 March 2008.
The magazine’s editor and publisher, Shelley Galliver, says: "As much as our association and being bagged with Compleat Golfer assisted us in entering the market and giving us brand credibility, it was important being a quarterly magazine that we were in fact available for the full three months.
"It is also really exciting to be "face first" on the shelf and not hidden behind another publication, and in this way we will be able to better judge the market’s response to our magazine through the purchasing patterns.
"We also hope that we are able to reach the ladies beginner market better now as well, as this group has not traditionally been buying the men’s golfing magazines. So we are looking forward to the markets response, and hopefully feedback with regards to what we are doing with the publication."
Distributed by RNA Distributors, SA Woman Golfer magazine will be retailing at R24.95 in the top 50 CNA stores, Fascination Books, Mr Price Sports, Spar, Sportsman’s Warehouse and other selected retail outlets.
This issue takes a look at the amazing Zimbali coastal resort, including a R35 million Rand house, we catch up with Brumilda van Rensburg and of course a full review of the recent Women’s World Cup of Golf, and lots more.
Readers can also subscribe online at the SA Woman Golfer website for a discounted subscription rate.
