In the women’s section of the Growthpoint Interprovincial Squash tournament in Pretoria, where the teams play for the Kaplan Cup, holders SACD and Northerns A have emerged as the early frontrunners, with just a point separating them after two rounds.
SA Nationals runner-up Lizelle Muller led SACD to a full haul of points against Zambia Invitational to take them to 37 points after two rounds.
With No 1 Farrah Sterne beating promising teenager, Teagan Roux, 3-0 in a closely fought match, Northerns A were able to defeat Joburg Squash 17-7 to stand on 36 points.
The tournament ends on Friday, 23 October 2020.
