Chelsea striker Sam Kerr will be the first woman footballer to feature on the global cover of EA Sports’ FIFA 23 game.
The 28-year-old is featured alongside renowned Paris St-Germain striker, Kylian Mbappe, in this ground-breaking move for women in sport.

The Australian was the top goal scorer in the Women’s Super League winning the Golden Boot in 2021-2022 season.
The forward’s 20 goals helped Chelsea win the WSL title and FA Cup last season earning her the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and Football Writers’ Association awards.

Kerr makes history by becoming the first female player to feature on a global cover with stars such as American Alex Morgan and Canada’s Christine Sinclair who have only featured on regional covers.
This will be the final FIFA branded game by EA Sports as the partnership with the world football’s governing body is set to come to an end.
