Saskia and Valma-Jean Hockly concluded Day Two of the ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships earning silver in the Junior Women’s K2 U18 race at the village of Ponte de Lima in Portugal on Friday, 30 September 2022.
Saskia teamed up with her sister to take second place on the podium and made important use of three main goals they had set, which was to get to the front, stay focused and get to the finish line.
On Thursday, 29 September; Saskia won a bronze medal in the junior K1 race.

In the K1 U23 race, Christie Mackenzie claimed a bronze medal for Team South.
