The 2023 FIFG World Cup Champions have concluded in Orlando, United States of America and Slovakia’s Lucka Čermáková was crowned the champion in the women’s category.
She entered the final day from the second place and showed a fantastic performance of 9 kicks under par off the field. She scored a total score of -20 and did not give her competition a chance.
Congratulations are also in order for team Japan, the first World Champions in the Women’s team category.
Footgolf, as the name suggests, is a sport combining elements of football and golf. The event is the fourth edition of the Footgolf World Cup; the first tournament was held in Hungary just over a decade ago.
The FootGolf World Cup was held at Walt Disney World and the Evermore Orlando Resort from May 27-June 6. Nearly 1,000 professional FootGolfers from 39 different countries, including South Africa, gathered in Central Florida for the festivities.
