England amped up their preparations ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will take place later this year from 20 July – 20 August, as the Lionesses made it 30 games unbeaten under manager Sarina Wiegman.
Wiegman’s side faced stern competition from the Copa America champions, who are currently ranked ninth in the world.
The match was a tale of two halves after England dominated the first stanza, but Brazil came out fighting in the second half scoring an equaliser in the dying minutes of normal time.
England’s Chloe Kelly scored the winning penalty to give them the title of winning the first ever women’s Finalissima.
