South African Trio Triumph at African Continental Champs

South Africa’s Candice Lill, Tyler Jacobs and Sarah Hill dominate the top three at the 2023 CAC AFCON XCO on Saturday, 3 June 2023.

The three competed in the Elite Women’s race where Lill took gold ahead of Jacobs and Hill, who completed the podium.

From Mauritius, Aurelie Halbwachs finished in fourth place and Zimbabwe’s Stacy Hyslop concluded the top five.

In the U23 division, South Africa’s Anneke van der Walt earned herself silver, while Rwanda’s Jazilia Mwamikazi took top honours and Morocco’s Raja Chakir in third.
