World Rugby announced the match officials for the quarter-final round of the Rugby World Cup, which includes South Africa’s Aimee Barrett-Theron.
In an official media release on Tuesday, 25 October 2022, World Rugby confirmed Barrett-Theron alongside Hollie Davidson (Scotland), Maggie Cogger-Orr (New Zealand) and Joy Neville (Ireland).
Davidson will take charge of the first quarter-final between France and Italy at 16:30 local time at Northland Events Centre in Whangārei on Saturday, 29 October.
Barrett-Theron will then oversee New Zealand v Wales at 19:30, taking charge of a match involving the host nation for the second time in the tournament following their 41-17 win over Australia on the opening day.
On Sunday, 30 October at Waitākere Stadium in Auckland, Maggie Cogger-Orr, will take charge of the third quarter-final between England and Australia at 13:30.
RWC 2017 final referee Joy Neville will then officiate the last quarter-final of the weekend when Canada again face USA at 16:30.
