South Africa’s top female squash players and their male counterparts will be in action against Netherlands in a combined men’s and women’s series, getting underway in Welkom tomorrow.
South African women will be represented by a strong quartet of Tenille Swartz, Claire Nitch, Diana Argyle, and Karen van der Westhuizen.
Swartz became the national women’s champ in May, after representing SA at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne early this year.
The series against the Netherlands will include 3 men’s singles, 3 women’s singles and 2 junior matches.
Coaching and development clinics will also be held at each of the venues.

August 8: Rovers, Welkom
August 9: Wanderers Squash Club, JHB
August 12: Londt Park, Port Elizabeth
August 14: Fish Hoek Squash Club, Cape Town.
