Sunflower Wfc will battle Lindelani Ladies in provincial playoffs after topping the KwaZulu-Natal Stream A of the 2021 Sasol League with 42 points after 14 games.

In their last encounter, Sunflower thumped White City 7-0 to ensure their spot in the playoff round, while Lindelani beat Ixopo Ladies comfortably in a 6-1 encounter on Sunday, 31 October 2021.

The first leg of the provincial playoffs will take place on Sunday, 7 November 2021.

Elsewhere, Sapphire Laddies FC and FC Angels’ encounter ended off in a 2-all stalemate. The two sides are in seventh and eighth positions, respectively. Sapphire Laddies have 10 points, while FC Angels have two.

FC Angels fell in their second encounter of the day after a tight 4-3 defeat against Makhanisi FC. Makhanisi FC are fourth on the KZN Stream B with 24 points.

Westville United are second on the table with 35 points after a 3-0 victory over Umlazi Arsenal, who are level on points with Sapphire Laddies.

Diepkloof Ladies move to fourth spot with 50 points in the Gauteng stream after they took a comfortable 16-0 win over Lusaka Ladies on Saturday, 30 October 2021.

Diepkloof Ladies have five games remaining and face Kathorus United on Saturday, 6 November 2021.

Elsewhere, it was a duel between bull and matador when Nicko Taurus FC took a 3-1 victory over Rosina Sedibane Modiba Sports School.

Nicko Taurus are sixth on the standings with 40 points, while Rosina Sedibane Modiba Sports School are 15th with five points.

Soweto Fabulous charmed their way to fifth position on the log after their 4-1 victory against Kempton Park FC. Soweto Fabulous have 45 points on the log while Kempton Park FC are ninth with 30 points.

On Sunday, Kempton Park FC sought redemption in their clash against Blue Birds Ladies Football Academy and claimed a 2-0 victory.

Blue Birds Ladies Football Academy are 13th on the Gauteng Stream log with 18 points.

Action Heats Up in Eastern Cape Inland Stream

In the Eastern Cape Inland stream, Mzamba Ladies FC routed Eastern Rangers 2-0 in their clash on Saturday.

Mzamba Ladies FC are sixth on the log with 14 points, while Eastern Rangers FC are seventh with 11 points.

Cumakala FC wilted any hopes the Red Roses Ladies may have had after claiming a 1-0 win in the clash on Saturday. Cumakala FC are fourth on the log with 17 points.

Red Roses Ladies are placed third, having claimed 20 points from six wins and two draws.

Ayakha Stars FC blazed in their 6-0 encounter against Amanqilo Birds. The win sees Ayakha Stars FC shoot up to second place with 33 points. Amaqilo Birds are at the bottom of the log with 6 points.

On the same day, Executive Ladies thrashed Eluhewini Ladies 6-0 in their match. Executive Ladies remain at the top of the table with 38 points while Eluhewini Ladies are fifth. with 16 log points.
