The squads have been selected from the Affiliates and three other Associate members of Cricket South Africa, with only Kei and Mpumalanga Unions not providing players.
CSA’s Senior Amateur Cricket Manager, Max Jordaan is confident that the SA Women’s squad will benefit from participating in this tournament, ahead of their tour of England which begins with a One-Day International match against Ireland Women at Wellington College on 31 July.
"The introduction of the Super 4 event would assist in bridging the gap between our provincial competitions and international participation," said Jordaan. "It would therefore, be an ideal platform to identify the future women international players."
The squads will arrive in Potchefstroom on 25 July.
