Border Win President’s Cup
A combined Border team posted a huge 48,554 team score, the highest score in 15 years to blow their provincial opponents away and win the 35 year old President’s Cup, for only the third time in the 41 year history of the event.
Gale-Force Wind for Surf Open
Gale force winds made conditions difficult for contestants on the second day of competition at the O’Neill SA Open of Surfing but there was still some excellent surfing in the 4- 6 foot which pushed through Nahoon Reef in East London throughout the day.
Girls Dis Shark for Roxy Surf
Despite strong south east winds, freezing water and a shark scare on Day one of the event, Long Beach Kommetjie produced the goods for both days of the Roxy Surf Jam over the weekend of September 3 and 4.
