The dominant form exhibited by the top two provincial hockey squads, current champs Western Province and their Highveld nemesis Southerns, has once again pitted the two against each other in the championship final of the 2007 SPAR Hockey IPT on Friday.
Peninsula Tops B Section
Peninsula will go into day 3 with a 100% record as worthy log leaders, and the +3 goal difference will be welcome, should their remaining pool matches against a resurgent Witwatersrand on Wednesday, Border on Thursday, and lowly Free State on Friday prove more than difficult.
