New IPT Kicks off in Pretoria
Following Boland’s scintillating run to victory in Cricket SA’s premier Super Sixes tournament a week ago, a new Women’s Cricket Inter-Provincial Tournament featuring eight teams gets underway from Wednesday at the University of Pretoria, in an effort to further improve the state of the women’s game in SA.

Boland Take Early Super Sixes Lead
The inaugural Super Sixes cricket tournament announced by Cricket South Africa in October 2007 commenced on the weekend, with the news that inclement weather abandoned play without a ball bowled in the Northerns v.s. KwaZulu-Natal fixture, while Free State claimed a home victory over Gauteng, and Boland beat Border in East London.
