Athletics South Africa (ASA) today announced that the Nedbank SA Half-Marathon Championships in Durban on 1 July, 2007 will be held on a fast and flat course, with much of it along the famous Durban beach front.
Jhb City Marathon for Comrades
Athletics South Africa has issued an urgent reminder to prospective entrants that the Closing Date for Entries to the 2007 Nedbank Johannesburg City Marathon is Thursday 26 April 2007. The race, which will be run on Sunday 6 May, is also the final qualifier for the 2007 Comrades Marathon.
Joburg’s Historic Road Race
The last event athletes can use to qualify for the 2007 Comrades Marathon, the Nedbank Johannesburg City Marathon on Sunday 6 May runs along one of the most historic routes in the country, taking runners through some of the country’s rich heritage sites.

Road running glamour is set to descend on Bloemfontein, with the city having been designated to host the third leg of the 2007 Nedbank City Marathon and Matha Series on Saturday 21 April 2007.
