    South Africa’s Ashleigh Simon has become the youngest ever professional winner of a Ladies European Tour event at the Catalonia Ladies Masters in Spain.

Maritz Finishes 3rd in Irish Open

  South Africa’s Laurette Maritz stormed to a second top-scoring tournament total during 2007 at the Hilton Templepatrick Golf Course, as inclement weather failed to dent her the Northern Ireland Ladies Open ambitions.

    Of the four South African golfers participating in the Northern Ireland Ladies Open at Hilton Templepatrick Golf Club, Lee-Anne Pace and Laurette Maritz improved their games, while Ashleigh Simon and Morgana Robbertze struggled amid rainy and gusting day two conditions.
