The Kellogg’s® Health of the Nation 50-Hour Sports Challenge is the largest event of its kind in South Africa. The Challenge takes place at the Southern Suburbs Sport and Recreation Centre in Rosettenville, from January 25, and in Cape Town at the Western Cape Sports School, in Kuils River, from February 15.

Man United Win Beach Soccer
Celebrating Human Rights Day – Wednesday 21 March – Sunrise Beach Muizenberg was the venue for the 3rd annual Khulani Beach Soccer Festival, supported this year by JAG Sport and Education Foundation – where once again Sporting Chance facilitated 310 children from Cape Town communities playing the beautiful game.

Mzampsi Wins Street Cricket
The finals of the third edition of the Street Cricket League were battled out in Harlem and Washington Streets, Langa on Friday, with some hard-fought games requiring inventive fielding as balls were sent into backyards and beyond, and with catches being taken around corners, and off the odd roof.
Street Cricket League Kicks Off
Friday 13th October 2006 sees the start of the newly expanded Street Cricket League for the third year running, now expanded to include two new regions in Cape Town, Gugulethu and Mitchell’s Plain, and also to Mossel Bay communities Kwa Nonqaba, Tarka, and Extension 23.
50hr Sports Challenge Success
Over 3000 children converged on Western Province Cricket Club this past weekend from local communities, and succeeded in an attempt to “Keep The Ball Alive” for a full 50 hours.
