The South African U14 and U16 tennis teams qualified for the Africa Junior Team Tennis Championship after they were crowned as champions of the ITF/CAT Southern African Junior Team Championship in Harare, Zimbabwe on Saturday, 7 May 2022.

Team SA showed dominance as they completed a clean sweep, winning gold medals.

The U14 trio of Morgan Jodaan, Logan Matthysen and Milla Kotze secured their gold medal with a win over hosts Zimbabwe after a strong three days of competition.

Mari-Louise van Zyl, Donna le Roux and Kaitlyn Ramduth put up a dominant performance in the finals, taking the title with a win over Madagascar in the U16 category.

The clean sweep of these events means that South Africa will represent the Southern African region at the Africa Junior Team Championship.
