Finally home here is a update of my last two and half months on tour. Check my website.

America is always fun, there is always a great vibe and something new to do or see. America is one place you can get to see the biggest of anything; America is all about big cars XXXL big Macs, and anything else you can imagine.

I think the best thing about going to America this year would have to be staying with a family instead of a budget motel. They really looked after me and I really couldn’t thank them enough.

From
America I flew across the world to Europe and landed up in Portugal
first, where we had a 6-Star WQS event, the Billabong Girls Cascais
Festival, Portugal, and came tied 25th. The waves were challenging but
a new place is always exciting.

I met
wonderful people who where excited to help me in my way forward in
surfing. Then to France I went and it was incredible, I hanged around
with good friends, had amazing waves, and beautiful weather- not much
more I can say.

I also competed in two Pro Junior events, the Oakley Lacanau Pro Junior, France and the Rip Curl Girls Festival Pro Junior, France, and I came tied 5th in both of them. It was really fun.

I have to thank Pedro from the Lisbon Surf Camp for all his help, finding my friends accommodation, helping find and look for new surf spots, and suggesting good sight seeing spots. Pedro also introduced me to a cosmetic company L’occitane, who sponsored me for the event, and gave me a car for the event! I can’t thank them enough for that.

There
are so many people who helped me in Europe, my aunt who let me stay at
her house in Portugal, and all my friends in France who openly allowed
me to stay in their houses. I can’t thank them enough.

All in all I had a wonderful time, I flew home on the 3rd September and surfed the Majestic East London Open and WON!! There were a lot of great surfers there, so I was really happy to WIN at home surrounded by my support group.

I am really lucky that I have such a support group at home, my parents give me all the love in the World and as soon as I get home my first visit is to Sinclair Warner my Chiropractor, he fixes all my pains and aches.

I also get to surf with all the local boys that push me to achieve greatness in my surfing.

Currently I’m busy training for Hawaii, which I leave for on the 17TH October, and I am feeling confident as I progress with my training and also will be getting some coaching with Graham Haynes after the Billabong World Junior Trials in J-Bay, which I will also be taking part in for a free ticket and entry to The Billabong World Junior Champs in Narrabeen Australia in January 2009.

I am lying 24th on the WQS at present, and I hope to improve on my position after Hawaii by achieving a great result! I hope everyone is great, and I would like to thank everyone for they’re on going support. It is always greatly appreciated.
