The Telkom Netball League Power Week kicks off today, Wednesday 15 June 2022, at the Heartfelt Arena where there will be five days of exciting netball action building up to the final.
The Division One top four has been decided, however Division Two is where the fourth-place spot is still up for grabs for either the Western Cape Tornadoes or the Eastern Cape Comets. One point separates the two sides and they both need to win their final group matches if they want to move on to the semi-finals.
The Eastern Cape Comets will be facing the only team who is unbeaten this season, the Eastern Cape Aloes. This Eastern Cape derby should be an exciting one as the Aloes are looking to go into the semi-finals with an unbeaten streak, while the Comets need those crucial two points to advance into the semis.
The Tornadoes will be facing the Kingdom Queens and they will be looking to settle the score as the Queens beat them earlier on in the season. The Queens will not make it easy for the Tornadoes as they aim to finish strong.
In Division One, the drama is at the top to see who will finish the group stages as leaders on the standings between defending champions, Gauteng Jaguars and Gauteng Golden Fireballs.
The two Gauteng teams have been neck and neck with each other and the last group matches will determine who will finish at the top. There is a lot to play for in the next two days before the semi-finals and play-offs.
