Tshwane continued from where they left off on Monday as they maintained their winning streak on the second day of the Spar National Netball Championships taking place at the North West University in Potchefstroom on Tuesday, 09 August.
They beat Johannesburg in their only match of the day.
Johannesburg bounced back from their loss to Tshwane to beat Nelson Mandela Bay in their second match of the day.
A closely contested match took place between hosts Dr Kenneth Kaunda and Mangaung. The host team led at half-time but Mangaung fought hard in the second half, with the lead changing numerous times. Mangaung managed to hold off Dr Kenneth Kaunda for a close and hard-fought victory.
Defending champions Cape Winelands had a good win over Buffalo City who are playing for the first time in the A-section.
