Supporters came out in numbers at Tuks Astro to show support for TuksSport, who were crowned the 2022 Varsity Women’s Hockey Champions on Thursday, 6 October 2022 in Pretoria.
The win for Tuks came after a penalty stroke was fired by Captain Teagan Fourie in the final minutes of the match.
Tuks were 3-2 down, but after Fourie’s strike, the team gained two points securing a 4-3 victory over Maties on homeground.
