Gauteng’s Tuks Ladies were the first team to progress to the semi-final of the 2022 Sasol League National Championships at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Wednesday 19, October 2022.
Tuks continued their impressive form, beating Central University of Technology from the Free State 3-0 to ensure that they maintain their unbeaten streak.
In the other match of the day, TS Galaxy Ladies lost 3-2 to Limpopo’s Copperbelt Ladies after dominating the match with a 2-0 lead at the half-time break.
Wrapping up games of the day, Royal Wizards from Northern Cape lost their second match when they went down 2-0 to NWU Tawana in the last match of Day 2.
Day 3 will see which teams will also add their names into the semi-final mix when Central University of Technology take on Sophakama FC from Eastern Cape in the first match at 09h00 CAT.
NWU Tawana and Lindelani Ladies will be searching for their second win at 12h30, while Copperbelt Ladies will play against Dangerous Heroes Ladies in the last match of the day at 15h30. All games are taking place at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
